Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge solutions that seamlessly integrate data and platform technologies to fulfill organizational requirements.
  • Design and architect application solutions that effectively combine data/geodatabases, platforms, and technologies to achieve business goals, enhance technical solutions, and minimize IT maintenance needs.
  • Create proof-of-concept models to validate design concepts and solutions as necessary.
  • Engage in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions as required.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and consultants to transition their solutions into operational environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A degree from an accredited four-year institution in computer technology or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise systems for large-scale or cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
  • Experience in integrating enterprise-level applications.
  • Strong skills in solutions development using .NET, JavaScript libraries (such as Dojo, jQuery, Leaflet), HTML5, CSS, Python, and ArcPy/Python Arcade.
  • Experience in documenting code and managing version control using industry-standard tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of IT security concepts and implementation strategies.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with modern API design patterns and the ability to define API specifications.
  • Proven track record as a Technical Architect in developing .NET web applications and client/server applications.
  • Experience in designing C# ASP.NET/.NET Core Web APIs (RESTful services).
  • Hands-on experience with .NET, C#.NET, WPF, WCF, MVC, or similar .NET frameworks.
  • Proven experience as a GIS Solution Architect or in a similar capacity utilizing Esri products.
  • Familiarity with the Esri ArcGIS Maps API/SDK for JavaScript versions 3.x and 4.x.
  • Knowledge of ArcPro, ArcMap, ArcObjects, Geoevent Processor, Experience Builder, and Field Maps.
  • Experience with SafeSoftware Feature Manipulation Engine (FME).
  • Experience in managing ArcGIS Enterprise Server and ArcGIS Online/Hub/Community as an Administrator.
  • Experience in designing and developing geocoders and geoprocessors.
  • Understanding of Esri ArcSDE and multi-user versioning techniques.
  • Knowledge of linear referencing systems/methods or Esri Roads and Highways or Oracle Locator/Spatial.
