Job Title: Warehouse Associate

We are seeking an experienced and entry-level warehouse associate to join our team at UNFI of Chesterfield, New Hampshire.

About the Job

A Warehouse Worker utilizes a power pallet jack to navigate the warehouse, picking orders using a pick system. Key responsibilities include safely and accurately pulling and gathering orders, palletizing, shrink wrapping, and placing them in assigned locations.

Pay and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $43,512 - $53,080 based on 40 hours/week with overtime opportunities.

• This role offers a starting wage of $20.75/hour with a pay increase to $22.25/hr upon two consecutive weeks of hitting 100% productivity.

Schedule

The standard schedule is 5 days a week (Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday): 9:00 am start time with mandatory overtime.

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be:

• At least 18 years old.
• Have experience selecting items in a warehouse environment (not required but preferred).
• Able to lift objects weighing from less than 20 to 60lbs consistently.
• Comfortable with occasional pushing, reaching, pulling, and gripping.
• Able to work in various temperatures.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

• Identifying pick locations and safely picking items.
• Inspecting equipment for safety issues.
• Picking the correct item and quantity, checking UPCs or item descriptions.
• Placing labels on cases.
• Shrink wrapping and labeling with required information.
• Staging pallets in the bay and building stable pallets.
• Informing your supervisor or manager of potential safety threats or policy violations.
• Operating a pallet jack/pushcart safely and efficiently.
• Exercising good judgment when direct supervision is not immediately available.
