Anesthesiology Specialist II

At Novant Health, we are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Level II to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and making a meaningful impact in the community.

This position requires a highly motivated and experienced CRNA who can provide professional, competent anesthesia care to patients of all ages. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs, and equipment, as well as the ability to modify anesthetic care suitable to patient age.

• Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, and other medical procedures
• Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, develop anesthetic plans, and administer anesthesia according to established protocols
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including anesthesia records and medication administration records

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree in nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice and CRNA certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA, preferably in a hospital setting
• Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications required

• Competitive salary range: $140,000 - $170,000 per year
