We are seeking a highly skilled Religious Education Coordinator to join our team at Ladgov Corporation in Schofield Barracks, HI. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning various religious education programs for both Catholic and Protestant communities.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate CCD and RE Programs for North & South Catholic Community Groups
  • Plan and execute Catholic Confirmation Retreats, Sacramental Celebrations, rehearsals, and parent meetings
  • Attend religious education coordination meetings
  • Coordinate, plan, prepare and participate in Vacation Bible School
  • Recruit, train and support volunteers
  • Coordinate Religious Education Programs for Protestant Community
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Christian Religious Education, or another ministry field from an accredited university
  • Catholic specific training/certification: A religious education/Catechetical Certification provided by the Archdiocese for the Military Services
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience in a military setting
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced, multi-faceted, pluralistic environment that engenders significant levels of stress and requires a high degree of coordination and cooperation among the chapel staff and the clients who seek assistance.

Compensation Package
