Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the Nursing Process to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with your scope of practice.
- Support the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within the St. Joseph's Healthcare System and on your assigned unit.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of nursing theories, principles, and concepts to inform your practice.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent experience.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
- Successful completion of department-specific orientation and certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within one year of hire.
