Job Title: A La Carte Server

At The Country Club, we are seeking a skilled and courteous A La Carte Server to join our dining team. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, maintain, and restock all areas related to a la carte service.
  • Communicate effectively and politely with members and guests.
  • Provide exceptional service and enhance the dining experience by following proper service procedures and exceeding member expectations.
  • Serve and clear food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop knowledge of our menu, including ingredients and cooking techniques, and be able to answer questions from members and guests.
  • Stay up-to-date on our house wine selections, including grape and region, and be able to present and pour wine or champagne.
  • Participate in menu tastings and attend additional training classes as announced.
  • Efficiently use the POS system and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Serve with banquet staff at large functions or weddings as needed.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Previous serving experience required, minimum 1 year.
  • Experience in a private club environment or high-end setting is preferred.
  • Excellent food and beverage knowledge.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 30lbs, and stand for 8-10 hours.
  • Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English conversationally.
  • Willingness to obtain TIPs Certification.
