- Collaborate with physicians, management team members, and business partners to address strategic initiatives and organizational goals.
- Patient Care and Safety
- Ensure the delivery of quality care to patients through the utilization of the nursing process.
- Adhere to all regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
- Staff Development and Performance
- Recruit, retain, and develop staff to ensure adequate staffing and high-quality patient care.
- Provide performance feedback and address issues as necessary.
- Quality Improvement and Compliance
- Participate in a systemic, interdisciplinary, and ongoing evaluation of programs and process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards.
- Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of professional nursing required.
- Documented degree plan and timeframe to complete Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) accepted.
- Licenses/Certifications
- Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
- Certified in Basic Life Support.
- Professional certification in clinical area or management preferred.
- Experience
- Three (3) or more years experience in clinical area of practice.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory or management role.
