**Job Summary**
The Housekeeping Room Attendant is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms. As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality, providing exceptional service to our guests, and working collaboratively with your colleagues to ensure a seamless guest experience.
**Responsibilities**
- Obtain room assignments from your supervisor at the beginning of your shift
- Check your cart to ensure it is correctly stocked
- Know the correct procedure for entering a guest room
- Follow a set pattern of steps for daily cleaning of occupied and check-out rooms to ensure nothing is missed
- Check rooms for damages, furniture, and equipment
- Report all damage and missing items to your supervisor immediately
- Return any items found in guest rooms, the lobby, corridors, or in the back of the house to the Lost and Found with the date, location, and your name
- Perform a final inspection of each room before leaving it
- Notify Housekeeping that the room is clean and whether it is occupied or vacant
- Restock your cart, remove any trash and dirty linen, at the end of your shift
- Respond to guest questions and provide assistance, directions, and information as requested
- Report any suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc., to the Safety/Security Department
- Provide instruction and/or guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency situations
