We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Staff to join our team at Educare of Lincoln. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our center.

About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.

In this role, you will assist the Lead Teacher and other staff members in providing a high-quality education program for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment, assist with administrative tasks, and provide support to the Lead Teacher and other staff members as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience working in an Early Childhood Center. A degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, paperwork, and communication with parents.
  • Provide support to the Lead Teacher and other staff members as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to improve teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience working in an Early Childhood Center preferred.
  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; OR 12 credit hours of either ECE college courses or certified ECE training preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check that meets compliance standards.
