Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, or music therapy or related field required, Master's preferred.
  • Certification through National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification (CTRS) preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience working in a psychiatric setting.
  • Good overall interpersonal skills. Ability to function well as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to represent the program well in interactions both inside and outside of the hospital. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
