Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain software for controlling CPU functions related to environmental control systems.
- Integrate and manage weather sensor data and enclosure commands.
- Ensure accurate GPS referencing and integration with system components.
- Manage communications protocols and ensure reliable data transmission.
- Oversee memory control and optimize system performance.
- Implement and maintain IP connectivity for remote monitoring and control.
- Monitor system health and implement diagnostic tools for reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new features and improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software integration issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends in embedded systems and environmental control technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in software development, especially in embedded systems.
- Proficient in C/C++, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with CPU and microcontroller programming.
- Knowledge of communication protocols and environmental sensors.
- Experience in memory management and optimization.
- Ability to develop system health monitoring tools.
- Security Clearance at Secret level, with the potential to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with real-time operating systems and cybersecurity for embedded systems.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $142,000
