We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team, working in a Full-Time capacity to provide counseling services to patients at our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC).
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate of $25.96 - $32.94 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay and a sign-on incentive up to $8,000. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, a 401(k) plan, company-paid short-term disability insurance, and company-sponsored life insurance.
Job DescriptionThe Mental Health Clinician will play a vital role in supporting the mission of Helio Health by meeting the behavioral health, addiction, and/or substance use needs of patients in our CCBHC. Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a caseload of individuals seeking treatment with a variety of behavioral healthcare needs.
- Providing evidenced-based individual, family, group, and couples counseling.
- Exhibiting exemplary knowledge of the biopsychosocial process of substance use, addiction, behavioral health, self-help group processes, and principles of counseling.
- Relating effectively with individuals served, Helio staff, and the community while upholding appropriate standards of confidentiality.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must hold a valid professional license or credential, including LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, RN, NP, or CASAC. A valid New York State driver's license and access to reliable transportation are also required. Two years' experience in the Human Services field working with individuals with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders is preferred, as is a Master's degree. Proficiency with basic computer applications is also essential.
