About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervisor to oversee the daily functioning of our Caregiver Support Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for facilitating the integration of Caregiver Support within our overall service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Volunteer and Student Services in recruitment and selection of volunteers
  • Train and supervise volunteers on an ongoing basis
  • Identify caregivers throughout the hospital and ensure that medical units are aware of the support services provided by the center
  • Collaborate with various medical teams throughout the hospital, including Surgery, Oncology, ICU's, and Palliative Care
  • Assess needs of individual/family members and offer appropriate level of support and provide resources
  • Participate in in-service trainings and collect and discuss feedback from caregiver volunteers
  • Provide ongoing support to caregiver volunteers and track utilization of Caregiver Support Center
  • Provide support to associates within the Medical Center and provide appropriate referrals when necessary
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in social work from an accredited University required
  • New York State LMSW or LCSW required
  • A minimum 3 years experience in healthcare management is required
