About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echo Technologist to join our team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As an Echo Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiography procedures, recognizing sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures, and blood flow.
  • Analyze sonographic findings throughout the examination to provide a comprehensive and accurate diagnosis.
  • Initiate additional scanning techniques or administer contrast agents as indicated by the examination.
  • Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Perform stress echo testing as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of cardiac/echo sonographer experience.
