Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and committed Physician Assistant to join our Hematology Oncology Specialty team. As a valued member of our team, you will be part of a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary oncology service line, providing expert care to patients dealing with hematological and oncological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with hematological and oncological disorders across the continuum of care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate and facilitate seamless transitions of care for patients undergoing treatment, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other advanced therapies.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, treatment options, and supportive care resources to empower informed decision-making and enhance adherence to treatment plans.
- Perform comprehensive symptom assessments and provide evidence-based interventions to manage symptoms related to cancer and its treatment, ensuring optimal patient comfort and quality of life.
- Participate in clinical research activities, including protocol development, data collection, and dissemination of research findings, to advance knowledge and improve outcomes in hematology and oncology.
- Masters degree in physician assistant.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant.
- Active licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
