Brake Technician Job Description

At Goodyear, we're looking for a skilled Brake Technician to join our team. As a Brake Technician, you'll be responsible for performing brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, and tire installation. You'll also perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform brake repairs and maintenance to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to identify potential issues
  • Diagnose and repair complex brake system problems
  • Document all work performed on the repair order
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management
