Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance warehouse methodologies to optimize scheduling, order fulfillment, and the logistics of inbound/outbound shipping, including loading and unloading operations.
  • Foster and maintain effective relationships with key clients, addressing any customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development of all warehouse personnel to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Support the Food Quality Program by providing necessary resources and assistance.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and safety standards throughout the facility.
  • Implement programs to maintain organized storage areas, schedule regular cleaning of equipment, and uphold strict pest control measures.
  • Assist in safeguarding the facility, employees, and inventory.
  • Maintain precise inventory management practices.
  • Conduct audits on cleaning tasks performed by material handlers and custodial staff.
  • Perform weekly inspections of food products for infestation and maintain accurate damage logs.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring food safety compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) configuration.
  • Proficient in MS Excel with a high level of expertise.
  • Experience in hiring and training team members effectively.
  • Strong capability to cultivate a positive and productive workplace culture.
