Job Description:

Amergis Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to students with a wide range of physical disabilities in a school-based position in Sanford, NC.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and evaluating students' physical capabilities and needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.

The role involves collaboration with teachers, school staff, and parents to create comprehensive care plans and participate in IEP meetings to contribute to goal-setting for students.

The Physical Therapist will also monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and provide guidance and training to staff and parents on physical therapy strategies and exercises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate students' physical capabilities and needs
