Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor for Transportation Studies to join our team at Texas Southern University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Transportation Studies classes and contributing to the department's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Transportation Studies courses to undergraduate and graduate students
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals
  • Engage in scholarly activities, such as research and publication, to contribute to the field of Transportation Studies
Requirements
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Transportation or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Experience in teaching Transportation Studies courses or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in research and publication in the field of Transportation Studies
  • Knowledge of transportation policies, procedures, and practices
  • Experience with transportation models related to travel demand forecasting
