- Handle simple claims processing
- Understand department workflows
- Assist Level 1 Research Assistants
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Healthcare background preferred
- Minimum 12 months of experience in a Level 1 position
- Meet Level 2 qualifications, on average, during the previous 12-month period
- Normal concentration required
- Easily learned, simple movements
- PC literate
- Typing scores of 35 WPM
- Proficient in 10-key
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
- Customer Focus: Understand customer needs, both internal and external
- Quality Focus: Provide high-quality service, maintain documentation, and work with other employees/departments
- Analysis: Normal analytical/problem-solving skills, research skills, and mathematical proficiency
