Pediatric Home Care Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Home Care Nurse to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a Pediatric Home Care Nurse, you will work one-on-one with children and their families to develop personalized care plans that meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients with special healthcare needs in their homes
  • Perform prescribed activities under the direction of the patient's physician, including patient assessments, feedings, respiratory system management, medication administration, and therapy programs
  • Assist in care coordination with the care team and may be responsible for transportation of patients

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a State Board-approved program for Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses and valid license as LPN or RN
  • Strong computer skills and ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Maintenance of an acceptable driving record and ability to work as a collaborative team member
