Job Summary

Soliant Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders, creating individualized treatment plans, and educating and training families and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, and communication disorders to identify areas of need and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each patient's unique needs, goals, and objectives.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about speech disorders, their causes, and effective management techniques to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure seamless communication.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress to inform future treatment decisions.
  • IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to provide recommendations for student support and ensure alignment with treatment plans.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
  • Supervision: Supervise and provide guidance to speech therapy assistants as needed to ensure effective support and training.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a speech-language pathology setting, with a preference for experience working in a school setting as an SLP.
  • Education: Must have a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, with full accreditation (CCC) preferred.
  • Clinical Fellowship Year: Must be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year.
