As a Senior Missile Defense Systems Modeling and Analysis Engineer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects that impact national security.

With a strong background in electrical engineering, physics, or mathematics, you will be responsible for leading complex analyses, developing innovative concepts and algorithms, and effectively communicating technical recommendations to leadership and the engineering community.

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $220,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes retirement plans, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, education assistance, and training and development opportunities.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in a professional engineering setting with a Department of Defense focus
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, including object-oriented programming
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to excel in a multi-disciplinary team environment
