About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Oncology Nurse Navigator to join our team at Providence Service. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families as they navigate the complexities of cancer care.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to assess and address the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and their loved ones. With a strong focus on patient-centered care, this role involves providing information, education, and support to empower patients to take an active role in their treatment decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and develop personalized plans to address their unique circumstances
  • Provide comprehensive education on cancer diagnosis, treatment options, and survivorship planning
  • Facilitate effective communication among healthcare providers, patients, and family members to ensure seamless coordination of care
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions and progress

Requirements

  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification within 18 months of hire
  • A minimum of 3 years of oncology experience

Estimated Salary Range: $45.22 - $71.58 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
