Job Description

The Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in our practice, working closely with the office manager and clinical team to deliver an outstanding patient experience. This position requires a friendly, outgoing demeanor and excellent organizational skills to direct and maintain full productive schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the practice, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Check-in patients according to office protocol, verifying and updating their information for accurate records.
  • Confirm the next day's appointments according to protocol and patient preferences, ensuring seamless scheduling.
  • Schedule patients for efficient use of the doctor and staff time, optimizing productivity and reducing wait times.
  • Maintain a professional reception area, presenting a clean and organized environment for patients and visitors.
  • Manage recall and inactive patient system, staying on top of patient communication and follow-up appointments.
  • Collect payment from patients at the time of service, accurately handling financial transactions.
  • Prepare financial treatment plans and present options to patients, educating them on their dental care needs.
  • Gather and verify patient benefits, maintaining accurate benefit summaries in our dental software.
  • Open and close dental offices according to office protocol, adhering to standard procedures.
  • Daily cash handling and balancing the day's transactions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Submit insurance claims for completed treatment and prior authorizations, streamlining our administrative processes.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide great medical benefits, including 3 health insurance plans to choose from, vision insurance, PTO, sick days, and no weekends

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and doctors.
  • A self-motivated and punctual attitude, with a strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
  • Experience using Open Dental software is preferred but not required.
