Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at MyMichigan Medical Center - Alpena. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality radiographic images for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologists and physicians in obtaining high-quality CT scans, ensuring minimal radiation exposure to patients and staff.
  • Administer intravenous and oral contrast as required, following departmental protocols and institution guidelines.
  • Provide radiation protection for patients, self, and others, using gonadal shielding and collimation as necessary.
  • Perform nursing duties, including assisting with sterile procedures, obtaining vital signs, and documenting patient data.
  • Identify and respond to urgent medical conditions, notifying radiologists and assisting with treatment as needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in CT scanning or related field.
  • Travel experience preferred.
  • Epic knowledge required.
  • Toshiba or Canon experience highly preferred.
  • BLS (AHA) and ARRT certification required.
