Job Summary
The Childcare Teacher is a key member of our team at InsideHigherEd, responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive program for young children. This role requires strong communication skills to effectively engage with families and keep them informed about their child's progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes learning and growth in young children
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Communicate effectively with families through regular updates and progress reports
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Two years' experience working in an early childhood program
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition, or must obtain CDA within 18 months of hire date
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
