Job Summary:

The YWCA of Hawaii Island is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our Sexual Assault Response Team, you will play a vital role in providing emotional and physical support to survivors of sexual assault and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide crisis stabilization and intervention services to survivors of sexual assault
  • Collaborate with community partners to increase awareness and reduce the risk of sexual assault
  • Meet with clients and other members of the community Sexual Assault Response Team at assigned locations

Requirements:
  • On-call availability with scheduled meetings at the Hilo SASS office or the Kailua Kona SASS office
  • Ability to travel across island to other SASS sites and community allied agencies
  • 12 hour shifts with flexible scheduling to support 24/7 crisis coverage
