Job Description

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Head of Software Product Management to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for defining the strategic vision and long-term roadmap for our software products, ensuring we are working backwards from customers and utilizing data analysis to guide our decisions.

About the Role

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver software products and features that meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver value for business and customers, ensuring strong, data-driven business and technical judgment in decision-making.
  • Define success measurements linked to desired customer outcomes, set goal targets, and communicate and report on defect identification.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
  • Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies.
