Job Responsibilities and QualificationsUnit Overview:
- Average of 250 surgical cases monthly across 5 operating rooms.
- Involvement in a variety of complex surgical procedures, excluding open-heart and brain surgeries.
- Focus on robotic surgeries, with advanced technology including XI Robots and a Hybrid OR.
- Work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment catering to a diverse patient demographic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Director.
- Provide both therapeutic and administrative services essential for patient care, aligning with the mission of Lee's Summit Medical Center.
- Care for patients across various age groups, from infants to geriatrics.
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Licensure/Certifications: Must possess a current RN license in Missouri or a multistate RN license upon hire, with a Missouri license required within 90 days if only a multistate license is provided. BLS certification is required upon hire, and ACLS certification within six months.
- Experience: Prior experience in a comparable facility is preferred, with OR experience being essential.
- Requirement: On-call duty is necessary, with the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of being called.
