Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at US Renal Care. As a key member of our dialysis team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours to optimize clinic efficiency

• Assist with billing log preparation and updates as needed

• Perform duties as assigned to meet patient care or operational needs of the clinic

• Obtain blood samples for laboratory analysis as required to complete physician orders

• Complete and document monthly review of patient medication profiles to ensure accurate and up-to-date information

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and appropriate documentation in the patient record of all treatments, activities, and communication with the patient, physician, and other healthcare professionals

• Report any significant information or change in patient condition to the Charge Nurse

• Participate in staff meetings and attend in-service and continuing education offerings as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a current LVN/LPN license in the applicable state and be able to maintain it as current and in good standing. Additionally, you must have CPR certification within 90 days of hire and be able to distinguish all primary colors. Previous dialysis experience is preferred, and you must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Basic computer skills are also required, with proficiency in all USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire.
