Piano Tuning and Maintenance TechnicianAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced Piano Tuning and Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ladgov Corporation. As a vital member of our piano maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tuning and maintenance services to our valued clients in the United States Naval Academy Musical Activities Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tune pianos to industry standards and client preferences, ensuring exceptional sound quality and pitch accuracy.
  • Diagnose and correct resonance issues, worn parts, and faulty components to achieve optimal piano performance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify areas requiring repair or replacement, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific tuning and maintenance needs, providing knowledgeable advice on piano care and maintenance schedules.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience as a Piano Tuning and Maintenance Technician, with a strong understanding of piano mechanics, construction, and materials.
  • Excellent knowledge of pitch, tone, and resonance adjustments, with skilled hands-on experience using specialized tools.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients, providing guidance on optimal playing conditions and piano maintenance.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits that include health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
