Nursing Director

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Nursing Director at Valencia at Willowcreek. This position offers a flexible work environment with a commitment of 20-30 hours per week.

As the ideal candidate, you must have a minimum of a Registered Nurse degree and be licensed in good standing. The salary for this position is estimated to be between $80,000 and $120,000 annually, depending on experience.

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Working with care coordinators to select, schedule, assign, and evaluate staff.
• Supervising medication administration and ensuring that a registered nurse is available to assist unlicensed personnel.
• Coordinating communication with community, family, pharmacy, and physician regarding medication changes and needs.
• Implementing policies for proper storage and disposal of medications.
• Reviewing resident medications every six months and documenting reviews.
• Performing resident assessments on a timely basis and creating/update service plans accordingly.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to lead the care team with respect, and resolve conflicts professionally. They will also be responsible for controlling and tracking all aspects of care budget and proactively seeking ways to stay below budget.
