Position Overview
At Canon Solutions America, a frontrunner in technology and service solutions, we are looking for a dedicated Field Service Technician. This role is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective maintenance and support of Canon products, adhering to established Service and Parts Standards.
Your ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for:
- Documenting product failure trends and serviceability concerns to your manager, ensuring thorough record-keeping and accurate reporting.
- Meeting customer expectations by delivering prompt, efficient, and precise maintenance services, whether in the field or at the shop.
- Maintaining all technical documentation, including Field Service Reports and Expense Reports, as well as Canon property assigned to you.
- Exhibiting strong communication skills to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring the optimal performance of assigned equipment.
- Contributing to the achievement of branch and district performance metrics.
This position involves direct customer interaction and requires adherence to customer policies, which may include health and safety protocols.
Do you meet the following criteria?
A High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.
A basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to successfully complete the introductory training period.
Willingness to travel (a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary).
Must take all necessary steps to obtain security clearances required by customers.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active for over 50% of the workday (walking, standing, kneeling).
The anticipated hourly rate for this position ranges from $17.57 to $26.31.
