Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care to our members by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling members regarding health care and prescription medication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring timely and efficient service to our members.
  • Administer immunizations and provide education to members on the importance of vaccination.
  • Counsel members on health care and prescription medication needs, providing personalized guidance and support.
  • Maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Model and enforce proper member service approaches and techniques, ensuring successful resolution of member needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas, analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, and providing direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP), and a pharmacy license. Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program is also required.
