Your expertise in injury prevention, early symptom intervention, and first aid care will enable you to educate employees on proper postures, self-care implementation, and overall wellness promotion.

About the Job:
You will be responsible for conducting ergonomic assessments and providing support to understand site operations, job processes, and physical demands. You will also work one-on-one with manufacturing employees to assess risk of injury, perform posture coaching, self-care implementation, and overall wellness promotion. Additionally, you will assist the safety department, medical staff, and production team to assess risks and determine ergonomic solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive injury prevention, early symptom intervention, and first aid care as defined by OSHA standards
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and support by understanding site operations, job processes, and physical demands
- Work one-on-one with manufacturing employees to assess risk of injury, perform posture coaching, self-care implementation, and overall wellness promotion
- Assist safety department, medical staff, and production team to assess risks and determine ergonomic solutions
- Ensure work environment allows employees to maximize comfort, safety, and productivity
- Conduct work conditioning classes to prepare new team members for production lines
- Work with safety and health department to implement and enforce standards

Requirements:
- Background in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field
- CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain prior to start of employment
- Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout assigned shift
- Previous ergonomic and/or occupational health experience a plus
- High degree of professionalism in written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and in team environment without constant supervision
- Maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications
