Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments and document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Kansas or a work permit from the State Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be completed within 6 months of employment.
- Experience in emergency nursing or a related field preferred.
