Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineering Intern to support our Instrumentation team. This role offers the chance to engage in mechanical design and collaborate with a skilled group of professionals committed to creating impactful products.

About CSBio
CSBio is a prominent player in the biotech sector, specializing in peptide manufacturing and instrumentation. With over three decades of experience, we partner with leading academic and industry entities throughout the R&D, clinical, and commercialization phases of pharmaceutical therapeutics.

Internship Responsibilities
The internship will involve practical design and verification tasks, including:

  • Creating and updating assembly BOMs, CAD drawings, models, and engineering documentation.
  • Developing product design solutions tailored to customer requirements.
  • Enhancing product performance, quality, and regulatory compliance while minimizing costs.
  • Generating detailed instrumentation drawings, including electrical and interface schematics.
  • Writing test protocols, conducting experiments, and preparing reports to validate our instrumentation products.
  • Collaborating with the manufacturing team on system builds and custom part fabrication.
  • Engaging with suppliers regarding component specifications.
  • Participating in quality control investigations and remediation efforts.
  • Working alongside software development and electrical engineering teams.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess the following:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
  • Capability to maintain high-quality standards while working efficiently.
