FPGA Firmware Development Specialist

Trackonomy's Mission-Critical Role:

You will be a key contributor to our mission to craft the operating system for the connected world. As an FPGA Firmware Engineer, you will work on cutting-edge projects that involve machine learning, security, high-performance computing, and IoT devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test firmware for FPGA-based systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA solutions into our products
  • Develop and maintain firmware development best practices, including testing, documentation, debugging, and code review
  • Work with Nordic Semiconductor platforms and other industrial electronics wireless devices
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving embedded sensor technologies and networks
  • Develop and maintain firmware for cellular protocols and industrial electronics wireless devices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in firmware development, testing, and system-level bringup and debugging
  • Knowledge of firmware development best practices, including testing, documentation, debugging, and code review
  • Experience with Nordic Semiconductor platforms and other industrial electronics wireless devices
  • Experience with embedded network exchange protocols like RSTP, PTP, LLDP, and UDP/TCP
  • Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (Python)
