Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant - Patient Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practices and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Clinical Needs
- Assist during a variety of treatment procedures, including dental X-rays, setup and breakdown of operatory, and infection control.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
- Travel to Nearby Offices
- Travel to nearby offices to support patient care and provide clinical support as needed.
- Education and Patient Support
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
- Office Tasks
- Perform various office tasks as necessary, including managing infection control and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
Requirements
- Active License
- Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification.
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to Ongoing Learning
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- High School Diploma
- Have your high school diploma or equivalent.
