About The Cardiology Department:
  • The Cardiology Department at Montrose Memorial Hospital is staffed by a dedicated team of cardiologists, nurses, technologists, and nuclear medicine specialists, collectively bringing over 150 years of cardiology expertise.
  • Our mission is to conduct diagnostic cardiac catheterizations with precision, thoroughness, and efficiency, ensuring that each patient receives a diagnosis that facilitates optimal treatment and enhances their quality of life.
About The Role:
  • This position involves assisting cardiologists with various cardiac catheterization procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, left ventricular and coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty/stent placements, and pacemaker insertions. The role requires operating the Cath Lab X-ray system and Siemens Hemodynamic system, as well as supporting radiologists in procedures such as arteriograms and tube placements.
  • It is essential to have a thorough understanding of specialized lab X-ray equipment, ensuring that all examinations are performed with the utmost technical quality and efficiency while prioritizing compassionate care and patient safety.
Qualifications:
  • ARRT registered or CVT certification is required.
  • BLS certification upon hire; ACLS certification is expected within six months of employment.
  • While one year of experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
