Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Humboldt County Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our Surgical Department, you will play a critical role in providing quality care to our patients.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assisting surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, as well as providing pre- and post-operative care to patients.
Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year (based on experience).
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- CMA or LPN certification
- Current Iowa license to practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
