We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Med Tech to join our team at Pacifica Senior Living Riverside. As a Caregiver/Med Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Implement care and activities of daily living (ADLs) according to the resident service plan within the scope of practice of certification or licensure.
- Respond to resident needs, pendant calls, and other community alarms in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate empathy and develop caring rapport with residents. Promote resident independence and self-care.
- Deliver care and services in accordance with individual service plan for all assigned residents.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of care delivered.
- Communicate change of condition in any resident to nursing in a timely and effective manner.
- Complete incident reports accurately and timely.
- Understand policies pertaining to safety and infection control and demonstrate practices to control the spread of communicable illnesses.
- Assist housekeeping and maintenance staff to keep the community and resident property clean.
- Recognize, respond to, and report concerns in resident's environment to ensure safety and comfort of resident.
- Address individual behavioral needs of the resident and demonstrate the ability to identify psychosocial needs.
- Proven experience as a Caregiver.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Med Tech (if interested in Med tech position).
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid CPR certification.
- Speak, read, and understand the English language.
- Committed to health & safety.
- Able to do housework and cooking.
- Well-organized and reliable.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- A positive and compassionate attitude.
- Physical stamina.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
