Position Summary:

Link Solutions, Inc. is in search of a Senior Threat Analyst (DCO) to become a part of our dynamic team.

  • Must be a US Citizen

The Senior Threat Analyst will be instrumental in delivering IT services and support for the US Army Regional Cyber Center program, which is tasked with managing and safeguarding the Army's NIPRNet and SIPRNet networks.

The successful candidate will utilize their expertise to identify system vulnerabilities, assess potential threats, and ensure compliance with security standards. Responsibilities include monitoring the cybersecurity framework, gathering tactical intelligence, performing digital forensics, and executing countermeasures to safeguard sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze specific Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) and Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).
  • Deliver comprehensive risk assessments and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Generate cyber threat awareness reports highlighting network threats and trends.
  • Create informational reports for stakeholders to enhance situational awareness regarding evolving cyber threats.
  • Conduct proactive cyber threat analysis and hunting across all supported networks.
  • Review threat intelligence from various sources to identify potential threats.
  • Utilize research findings to provide operational impact assessments and recommendations.
  • Engage in cyber hunt missions to identify indicators of compromise across systems.
  • Compile findings from cyber hunt missions into a detailed Threat Hunt and Analysis report.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and potential issues within Army networks.
  • Monitor security events and maintain an updated triage database with current threat data.
  • Respond to detected events and ensure proper management of associated trouble tickets.
  • Provide expert support, including data analysis and initial cyber incident investigation reports.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • DoD Secret Clearance is required
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification
  • IAT Level II Certification or higher (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security Training, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science
  • Over ten years of relevant experience
  • Ability to apply technical principles and provide solutions to complex problems in the Cyber Research field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IAT Level III Certification (e.g., CompTIA CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP)
  • Experience in modeling and measurement techniques
  • Background in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
