About the Role

Utah Legal Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Attorney to lead our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, managing day-to-day legal operations, and ensuring high-quality legal services are delivered.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and manage a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training opportunities for junior attorneys to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Legal Expertise: Serve as a substantive expert for the task force, providing guidance on complex legal issues and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Caseload Management: Collaborate with team members to ensure effective caseload management, prioritize cases, and meet deadlines.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and community stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration.
