Award-winning Avera McKennan Hospital seeks a skilled Surgical Technologist to join its team of medical professionals. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing surgical care to patients, working closely with a highly experienced surgical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the professional nursing staff in the execution of the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care for a specific group of patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a positive impact on patient care.
  • Gain hands-on experience in healthcare, working alongside experienced surgical professionals.

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
  • Previous experience as a Surgical Technician preferred.
  • Successful completion of National Exam of Surgical Technicians preferred.

Benefits:

  • Sign-on bonus of $6,000 with less than 2 years of experience or $10,000 with 2 or more years of experience.

Work Schedule:

  • Varied shifts, including 6:30am-7:00pm and occasional weekends, holidays, and on-call time.

Compensation:

  • The hourly range for this position is $34.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
