Job Overview

Seeking skilled Electromechanical Technician - Competitive hourly rate

Position Details:

  • Assembly of Electro-Mechanical Components
  • Primary Duties

Involves the assembly of small cable harnesses, including tasks such as wire tinning, stripping, crimping, as well as testing and quality inspection.

Interpretation of customer specifications and engineering documentation to fulfill client needs.

Utilization of J hook and hand soldering techniques for connecting wire ends, along with tinning processes.

Frequent use of hand tools such as crimpers and cutters is required.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

Minimum of 3 months experience in soldering (including hand soldering, wire soldering, thru-hole, J Hook, etc.)

At least 6 months of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, preferably in wire harness production.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, or willingness to learn.

Excellent hand dexterity is crucial, as many components are very small.

Preferred:

Experience with wire harness assembly and/or crimping.

Background in electro-mechanical assembly.

Familiarity with J Hook soldering or tinning processes.
