Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up equipment for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of patient care.
  • Evaluate patient condition and record vital signs, including ECG tracings and other relevant data.
  • Participate in ambulatory ECG monitor programs and perform tests with portable equipment, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Obtain patient history and position patients on tables for procedures, demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactions.
  • Assist medical staff during procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff alike.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date department records, reports, and files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • ARDMS certification is required for this position.
  • BLS certification is also required, with AHA certifications only accepted.
  • Two years of experience in cardiovascular technology is necessary, with a strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures and patient care.

  • Please verify certifications by position with AM/PM until UDs are utilized.
