Position Overview

Work Schedule:

Full-time, day shift with rotating 8-10 hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Weekend call rotation required. Hours may fluctuate based on departmental needs.

At UW Health, we are proud to have a team of skilled medical and technical professionals. We are currently looking for a Lead Radiologic Technologist - MRI to:
  • Inspire and guide fellow Radiologic Technologists within the MRI Department.
  • Engage with patients requiring advanced care and exhibit essential skills across various settings (Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Interoperative Neuro MR, and Operating Room).
  • Deliver advanced training to existing MRI Technologists and onboard new team members.
Educational Requirements:

Minimum - Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum - Two (2) years of clinical experience.

Preferred - Three (3) years of clinical experience, including at least one (1) year in a leadership capacity.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum -
  • Certification from the appropriate body (ARRT) and a valid Wisconsin Radiologic License.
  • CPR certification required within three months of hire.
  • MRI certification.
