Job Summary:

As a Commercial Driver at Republic Services, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy truck along designated routes and to disposal sites. Your duties will include performing pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle, operating manual and/or automatic controls, and adhering to Company safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Operate manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures.
  • Safely transport waste and recyclables to designated disposal sites.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, customer service, and vehicle maintenance.

Requirements:
  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
